Mahesh Mahadev Honored With ISSA 2024 International Music Award from International Singer Songwriters Association, Atlanta, USA for his Album “Meera: The Way of the Storm” in “International Best Male Album of the Year” Category.
During “Vande Mataram,” a program held to honor achievers from various fields on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day celebrations at Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Bengaluru, on August 18, 2024, Mahesh Mahadev was presented with the “Bharat Seva Ratna” National Award by the Chetana Foundation and the World Press Book of Records.
Music composer Mahesh Mahadev was given the “Bharat Seva Ratna” Award for his outstanding services to the music industry by acclaimed lyricist for Kannada cinema, Dr. V Nagendra Prasad. Known for his astounding musical compositions in 14 different languages (film, non-filmy, Carnatic classical, Hindustani classical), he has enthralled audiences with his works in Carnatic krithis, Hindustani Bandishes, bhajans, devotional, and film songs in Sanskrit, Kannada, and Hindi.
